Christiane Neumann, known professionally as Christephania, is a Tarot and card reading expert, artist, author, and life coach. She has been exploring cards and their symbolic language for over 40 years and has worked professionally as a consultant since the early 2000s. Her approach combines psychological and spiritual perspectives with intuitive card reading and decades of experience guiding and supporting others.
Christephania does not view card reading simply as a way to predict the future. Instead, she uses Tarot and oracle cards as mirrors of inner processes, helping people recognize personal patterns, understand relationship dynamics, and explore possible paths forward. Her extensive education and professional training—including psychological counseling, NLP, parapsychology, Reiki, and various forms of energy and consciousness work—contribute to this holistic approach.
The connection between card reading and art plays a particularly important role in her work. Since 2001, Christephania has been creating digital artwork, developing a distinctive visual language of her own. Dreamlike and nostalgic scenes, symbolism, and surreal elements characterize her card decks. She personally creates not only the illustrations but also the concepts, card interpretations, spreads, and accompanying guidebooks.
Over the years, Christephania has developed numerous original card projects. Her published decks include Christephania Kipper, Christephania Liebesorakel, and Christephania Lenormand. In 2026, Königsfurt-Urania published her Christephania Tarot, featuring the traditional 78-card deck. This deeply personal reinterpretation of Tarot brings together her extensive experience with card reading and her artistic vision.
Through her work, Christephania brings together art and symbolism, intuition, and psychological-spiritual counseling. For her, cards are a powerful medium for developing greater self-awareness, exploring inner processes, and discovering new perspectives on personal questions.
